Dear AALS Members:
I received this Notice from Cathy Underwood, attorney (former AALS member), and wanted to share it with you with regards to various training sessions.
Doris T. Compton, PP, PLS Emeritus
AALS 2021-2022 President
I wanted to alert AALS members about some things the bar has going, but particularly the Microsoft Word training this spring. It will be weekly one-hour trainings for eight weeks – for free to paralegal members (participation in this training alone is worth the membership fee, which is $150). The announcement that we sent out to attorney members, which includes the entire schedule of training for the year, is below. In addition to the training that is scheduled just for them, paralegal affiliate members also receive six free CLE hours (of their choice) from CLE Central and free access to Fastcase, in addition to being a part of the ACE community on ArkBar.com (which allows you to interact with other paralegal affiliate members).
Live Training for Paralegal Affiliate Members
Don’t let your support staff miss out
ArkBar has scheduled the following webinars for its paralegal affiliate members this year (more information on how to join each webinar will be sent closer to each one):

- January 18 – March 8 (every Tuesday during this time at 11) – Microsoft Word Training with Affinity expert Jeffery Schoenberger
- April 5 – Adobe PDF Training with Affinity expert Danielle Davis Roe
These webinars are free to all paralegal affiliate members. If you would like your support staff to take advantage of this free training, there is still time to join.
